Company focused on AI and metaverse technologies Futureverse raised $54M in a Series A funding round led by 10T Holdings, with participation from Ripple.
Puma and Roc Nation (Jay-Z’s entertainment agency) just launched a new shoe collection called RS-XL “Evolution of the Mixtape”. The twist: each shoe comes with a blockchain-based tech called an “LGT Tag” which is embedded in the tongue of the shoe. Owners can scan it to access exclusive music content from Roc Nation artists including weekly mixtapes, access to unreleased music, and more. An NFT is also minted on the Avalanche blockchain that can be used to authenticate the shoes and other apparel.

Decentralized employment platform Opolis raised $6.6M in a funding round led by Greenfield Capital, with participation from Near Foundation, Draper Associates, Polygon Ventures.
Risc Zero, a one-year-old Seattle startup that helps crypto developers build zero-knowledge proof software, raised a $40 million Series A round. Blockchain Capital was the deal lead, with Bain Capital, Galaxy Digital, Fenbushi Capital, and Delphi Digital also investing. CoinDesk has more here.
